Owen O'Neill

Owen O'Neill is a writer actor and stand-up comedian and manages to blend all three. He made his stand-up TV debut on Saturday live in 1985 and has since performed in numerous TV shows including his own TV Stand-up special for BBC2. He has twice been a guest on the Conan O'Brien show and has performed his award winning one-man show 'Off my face' at the West Beth theatre in New York. He has also appeared several times at the Montreal Just for Laughs comedy Festival. He is an annual visitor to the Edinburgh Festival where he has produced and directed seven one-man shows, winning a string of awards including three Fringe firsts, The Herald Angel award for best comedy , The LWT award for best original one-man play and a Perrier award nomination. His sitcom 'The Fitz' was screened in 1999 on BBC2.
