13 December 2018: Pete Firman, comedian and magician, star of BBC 1's Magicians, brings together weird tricks and a brash performance at Seven Arts.

12 October 2018: Biscuithead and the Biscuit Badgers, probably Leeds most entertaining, educating, daring, deft, daft, and seriously surreal band you will ever have the pleasure of watching. With special guest, Rory James Scammell. At Belgrave Music Hall.

9 December 2018: John Wilson & the John Wilson Orchestra celebrate the history of Hollywood from the dawn of the talkies right through to the 60s. At Belgrave Music Hall.

20 December: Haiku Salut: Christmas Lamp Show. This instrumental trio perform on a stage full of vintage lamps of various sizes which are programmed to flash, fade and flicker in time to the music, which is spell-binding. At Belgrave Music Hall

8 September 2018: Bon Jovi Tribute Night - Bon Giovi, a full-time Bon Jovi tribute, who’ve played the world include Dubai and Russia, provide a great night of live music. At Seven Arts.

17 November 2018: Jazz At Heart is the Matt Anderson Quartet featuring four young musicians who are all bandleaders and composers in their own right. Taking inspiration from sources as wide-ranging as Wayne Shorter, folk music of the British Isles, the European jazz scene and groove/rock music to create their own original pieces. At Belgrave Music Hall.

 Leeds Centenary Music Festival

22 July 2018: Delights of the Duke, with Alan Barnes and his Ellingtonians. Duke Ellington and the Queen met in 1958 in Leeds, both guests of honour at the finale of the Leeds Centenary Music Festival. The Duke wrote The Queens Suite a year later and whilst it’s little known, Alan Barnes and his Ellingtonians play it as part of their set.

Hear Alan Barnes and his all-star ensemble play the best of British jazz. The Ellingtonians include Bruce Adams trumpet, Mark Nightingale trombone, Karen Sharp saxephone and clarinet, Robert Fowler saxephone and clarinet, David Newton piano, Simon Thorpe bass and Clark Tracey drums.
