Camden Live Event List 2018/2019

Camden is considered to be London's cultural quarter both contemporary and contemporary. It has been a lively area for decades and is where the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd and The Doors made a name for themselves.

Comedy

14 July 2018: Four different acts from Paul Thorne, Rory O'Hanlon, Geoff Norcott, Jeff Innocent. Includes a great menu and drinks and once the comedy has ended enjoy the after-show party, all under one roof. At Camden Assembly.

1 September 2018: Tom Allen is a sharp, funny raconteur and wickedly camp. This perfectly groomed posh-boy from Bromley has supported Sarah Millican on her sold out UK tour and has appeared on Live at the Apollo and the Edinburgh Fringe. Allen tackles the eccentricities of modern life, through hilarious storytelling. At Camden Assembly.

17 November 2018: Jess Robinson performs an evening of brilliant celebrity impressions, musical comedy and stunning vocal gymnastics. Like a wonderfully malfunctioning jukebox, Jess and her incredible vocals will take you through hilarious improvised musical mash-ups from Billie Holiday and Judy Garland to Amy Winehouse and Beyonce. 13th July 2018: The Froot, a four-piece combo from Hull play 1960s style progressive rock with a bluesy edge. With support from The Brazen, Blue Canary and The Otherness. At Dingwalls.

11 September 2018: Janelle Monae is the woman of the moment with the instant classic 'Dirty Computer' album. Brilliant recent singles 'Make Me Feel' and 'Pynk' will be a joy. At Etcetera Theatre.

2 October 2018: Ricky Warwick And Damon Johnson: An acoustic set from the two members of the American hard rock band Black Star Riders. At Camden Assembly.

8 November 2018: Deer Tick: The Rhode Island-based five-piece plays country-rock. At Camden Assembly.

Ultimate Coldplay tribute

26 January 2019: Ultimate Coldplay - A Tribute - Live Band Night. A live performance of music from Coldplay by Ultimate Coldplay. This Midlands based Tribute band are the next best thing. Attention to detail means these guys are a true homage to Chris Martin and the Coldplay boys. At Dingwalls.

4 August 2018: Got To Be Michael Jackson Tribute Night starring Anthony Edwards celebrates the world's most famous entertainer, who he used to work directly with. There are authentic costumes, props, and atmosphere to create a concert that is identical to Jackson’s famous spectacles. Hits such as ABC, Thriller, Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal are performed with backing singers and a live band. At Camden Assembly.

26 October 2018: Neil Diamond Tribute Night with Clark Stewart where you can sing along to all of the old favourites from Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash and Kenny Rogers including Sweet Caroline, Love on the Rocks, Forever in Blue Jeans, The Ring of Fire, Song Sung Blue and many more. Also includes a 3-course meal, tribute act and a disco. At Camden Assembly.

6 October 2018: Abba Tribute Night. It is time to be taken back to the 1970’s and become a Super Trooper and Dancing Queen for the night. Enjoy a 3-course meal and disco, with dancing compulsory once you hear those great tunes. At Jazz Cafe

Depeche Mode Tribute

3 November 2018: Depeche Mode Tribute performance by Night People following an appearance at Glastonbury Festival, and sell out shows, this too is sure to be a sell-out. At Dingwalls.

15 December 2018: Christmas With Elvis - Elvis Presley Tribute Night. Spend Christmas with the King for the ultimate Christmas Party featuring Carl Ryder as Elvis Presley. Carl Ryder is an international renowned and highly respected Elvis Presley Tribute who is a 5-time European Elvis Championship Finalist. At Camden Assembly.

30 June 2018: La Soiree: A cheeky cabaret night 'La Soiree' is a speakeasy-inspired show that features tumbling cocktail waiters and great tunes from the live band. Starring burlesque queen Laurie Hagen, jazz performer Dandy Wellington, and aerialist Yammel Rodriguez. At Jazz Cafe.

24 November 2018: Sean Smith is one of the new group of magicians. He really does read your mind and his act will have you questioning the limits of communication, thought and language. Sean will have you exploring the edges of reality, leaving you wondering what about his act is real and how much is theatrics. At Camden Assembly.
